Storage and Deletion Policy
This policy describes how long MemoryPet keeps saved audio, pet data, restoration files, and related records.

Saved pet-sound samples
MemoryPet stores the short original clip and final enhanced audio version you choose to save, together with pet profiles, labels, playback settings, enhancement settings, file details, and other metadata needed to provide the service. The complete source audio or video recording is processed in the browser and is not intended to become a long-term MemoryPet upload. Keep your full source recordings and downloaded copies.
Standalone audio projects
A standalone project stores its original clip and final enhanced version separately from any pet profile. It remains available while the account exists unless you delete it through an available control or request account deletion. Purchasing the full pet app does not automatically assign an existing standalone project to a pet.
Account access and expiration
One account-access period covers every pet on the account. When access expires, pet listening, uploads, and sample-management features may be suspended. Expiration does not immediately delete pet profiles or assigned audio samples.
Post-expiration retention
Pet profiles, original clips, and final enhanced samples assigned to pets are retained for 12 months after account access expires. Renewing during that period restores access for all pets on the account. After the 12-month period, those pet records and files become eligible for deletion.
Photo review and restoration files
Photo source files enter private storage for human review. Rejected source files are removed after the review action unless preservation is reasonably required for security, abuse, reporting, or legal purposes. Approved source files are treated as temporary processing inputs and removed when the job is recorded as completed or failed. Completed restoration results are made available for download and may be removed after 30 days. Download and keep a local copy of any result you want to preserve.
Deleting content
Where account controls are available, users may delete individual samples, standalone audio projects, and pet profiles. Deleting a pet may also delete or make inaccessible the samples and settings tied to that pet. Deletion actions may be permanent.
Account deletion requests
Account-level deletion requests may be sent to privacy@memory.pet. We may verify account ownership before acting. Active purchases, disputes, fraud reviews, content-review incidents, or legal obligations may affect what can be deleted immediately.
Backups and retained records
Deleted information may remain for a limited period in encrypted backups or disaster-recovery systems before aging out through normal backup rotation. Billing, tax, security, fraud, review, support, and legal records may be retained after content deletion when reasonably necessary.
Service closure
If MemoryPet is discontinued, we will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice and an opportunity to download accessible content, subject to security, legal, provider, and operational constraints.
