Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of MemoryPet, including audio cleanup, pet profiles and playback, media credits, photo restoration, account access, and related services.
Effective date: July 17, 2026
Agreement to these terms
By creating an account, purchasing a product, uploading content, or otherwise using MemoryPet, you agree to these terms and the policies linked from this page. If you use MemoryPet for another person or organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for them.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, or use MemoryPet with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping your sign-in method secure, and for activity that occurs through your account.
What MemoryPet provides
MemoryPet lets users select and clean up short pet sounds from their own recordings, save an original clip and final enhanced version, download standalone audio projects, create pet profiles, assign saved samples to pets, and use listening features. MemoryPet also offers photo restoration and may add video restoration later.
Audio cleanup is assisted rather than fully automatic. You choose clip boundaries, review the cleanup result, decide which cleanup stages to use, and make the final selection. MemoryPet preserves recordings supplied by users; it does not promise to recreate or synthesize a pet's voice.
Your content
You keep ownership of content you upload. You grant MemoryPet and its service providers a limited license to host, copy, transmit, process, modify, and display that content only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and support the service. This license ends when the content is deleted from active systems, subject to reasonable backup, legal, fraud, security, and incident-response retention.
You confirm that you own your uploads or have permission to use them. You are responsible for preserving your full source recordings and downloaded restoration results.
Acceptable use and content review
Use MemoryPet only for lawful purposes and in accordance with the Acceptable Use Policy. Photos submitted for restoration may be viewed by a limited group of authorized human reviewers before processing. We may reject an upload, return its media credit, preserve relevant records, limit features, suspend processing, or close an account when reasonably needed to address abuse, security risks, provider requirements, payment disputes, or legal obligations.
Purchases, access, and media credits
MemoryPet uses explicit one-time purchases and does not renew automatically. The first-pet purchase includes one pet credit and 12 months of account access. Additional-pet purchases add pet credits without changing the current account expiration date. An account-access renewal adds 12 months of access for all pets on the account.
Each confirmed account receives one promotional media credit. Media credits may be used for eligible standalone audio projects and restoration jobs. They are account-specific, have no cash value, and are not transferable. Active MemoryPet account access includes use of the standalone audio studio without spending media credits.
A media credit is deducted when a standalone audio project is saved or when a restoration job is submitted. If MemoryPet rejects an ordinary photo during review or records a restoration job as failed, the credits used for that job are returned automatically. Credit returns are not cash refunds. Monetary refund requests are governed by the Refund Policy.
Photo restoration
Photo restoration uses human review followed by automated third-party processing for approved images and returns four enhanced versions. Results depend on the source file and may contain artifacts, changed details, or other imperfections. MemoryPet does not guarantee that a restoration will meet a particular artistic, historical, or technical expectation. Download completed results promptly and keep your own copy.
Expiration, retention, and deletion
When account access expires, pet playback, new pet-sample uploads, and sample management may be suspended. Pet profiles and saved original and enhanced samples are retained for 12 months after expiration so access can be restored through renewal. Standalone audio projects and restoration files follow the schedules described in the Storage and Deletion Policy.
Service availability
MemoryPet is provided on an as-available basis. Maintenance, provider outages, network failures, security events, human-review delays, or other circumstances may interrupt access or processing. No online service can guarantee permanent storage or uninterrupted availability.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MemoryPet is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable as the only backup of important content.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MemoryPet will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, revenue, goodwill, or business opportunities. MemoryPet's total liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid to MemoryPet during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow every limitation stated here, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
Changes to the service or terms
We may update the service and these terms. Material changes will be posted with a revised effective date and, when appropriate, communicated through the service or by email. Continued use after an updated version takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
